Does the lack of the published pictures of the system because they are top secret?.
And, if Iraq does not get the Patriot missiles over America's refusal to provide him with them.There is no problem go straight to Russia to ask for S-300 request.

I’m presuming the avengers are easy to operate but what about the hawks? Did the Iraqi airdefense personnel received any training on how to operate them and are they linked to the Iraqi radars and air defense network?

My brother if some members of the Arab Forum, especially from Egypt talking about things is completely logical and caused laughter at the level of the minds like these boys like owning Egypt System Patriot PAC-3 and system S-400 which so far has not offered for sale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![/size]

one of them answered a question of mine saying that egypt has LASER AIR DEFENSE GUNS.

There are personnel from the Iraqi air defense trained on the use of these missiles when Iraq occupied Kuwait. Iraq enable to captured many Kuwaity Hawk systems and was compatibility with air defense system then-Iraqi was used against coalition aircraft in 1991 and possibly there was a one launch or more of these missiles in the war . May have been use of these men to used or for the purpose of training new crews on them. Hawk system usually has on their own radar systems and can be linked to Iraqi radar systems, which are all U.S. made.

like Tango said. Iraq operated several I-HAWK batteries from 1991-2003, they captured them from Kuwait.

guys you are talking about ancient history, these personnel who operated the kuwaiti hawks may or may not excist in iraq it is a 50/50 chance here, further more are the iraqi hawks more advaneced than the kuwaiti onces? if they were it will require a serious training to operate them.
maybe i'm wrong who knows

May be training a group of soldiers in one of the countries, such as Jordan, as happened with the deal F-16 aircraft

in the last SIGIR report it was mentioned that US crews were in Iraq training the Iraqis on the AVENGER... i presume the I-HAWKs were also part of that training.

اعتقد ان نضام افنجر Avenger ضروري لحماية الارتال المتقدمة وخاصة من الطائرات الهلكوبتر وهذي خطوة صحيحة في بناء دفاع جوي فعال ومرن لاكن الهوك HAWK فا النظام في الخدمة من بداية ال60 ورغم التطويرات التي تجرى علية للان النضام لم يعد مناسب للدفاع ضد الطائرات الحديثة وهناك انظمة احدث منة تلبي المرونة والقوة والكفائة المطلوبة في منظومات الدفاع الجوي مثل بيوك 1 ام الروسي واسترى 30 الفرنسي والقادم الجديد منديز نظام الدفاع الاوربي المتوسط المدى

حصول العراق أو سيحصل على منظومتي الأفينجر و البانتسير تغطي مستوى الدفاع الجوي الواطيء والمتحرك لمواكبة الأرتال المتحركة أو للدفاع القريب عن المراكز الحساسة ولكنه يحتاج الىتغطية المستويات المتوسطة والعالية واذا ما صح حصوله على الهوك سيغطي هذا جزء من النقص في منظومة الدفاع الجوي بشكل مؤقت بالأضافة الى تأهيل وتدريب الطواقم على المنظومات الأكثر تعقيدا و لحين الحصول على منظومات أكثر فعالية وتقدم تغطي المستويات المتوسطة والعالية سواء كانت أمريكية مثل الباترويت أو الشرقية / الروسية المختلفة و حتى الأوربية منها

حسب تصريحات وزير الدفاع ورئيس لجنة الامن والدفاع النيابية فـأن القيادة العراقية وضعت خطط لتنسيق عملية بناء قدرات الدفاع الجوي من خلال التسلسل الزمني والمرحلي فتبداء اولا عملية التسليح الخفيفة وهو ماجرى فعلا بأستلام مدافع 23 وغيرها ثم وقع العراق مع روسيا على شراء منظومة البانتسير ويقال ان هناك مدافع مضادة للطائرات في هذه الصفقة ايضا والمعلوم ان هذه الصفقة لدفاع الجوي المنخفض والمتوسط وعليه ستجري عملية التسلح بأنظمة الدفاع الجوي البعيدة التي قد تكون امريكية او روسية المنشـأ

نعم ..وشاهدت حسن السنيد يتكلم بعصبية بالغة محذرا الطائرات التركية والايرانية من انتهاك الاجواء..
بل ذهب بكلامه الى ان العراق سوف يسقط اي مقاتلة وسيعتبرها معادية ..
